📝 Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, well‑structured teaching to learners on Electrical Installations programmes (L1-L3).
  • Plan and deliver theory and practical sessions aligned with awarding body specifications.
  • Assess and mark coursework, practical assessments, and exams in line with internal and external requirements.
  • Support learners' progression by providing constructive feedback, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Maintain accurate records of learner progress, attendance, and achievements.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and ensure teaching materials remain current and industry‑relevant.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment across workshops and classrooms.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, employers, and support staff to ensure learner success.

✨ What We're Looking For

  • Industry background in Electrical Installations (NVQ/Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Teaching qualification (DET, PGCE, CertEd, or willingness to work towards one).
  • Assessor/Verifier qualifications (A1, TAQA, or IQA) desirable but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of current electrical standards (e.g., 18th Edition).
  • Ability to deliver practical and theoretical learning effectively.
  • Excellent communication and classroom‑management skills.
  • Passion for learner development, employability skills, and vocational progression.
