Personal Development Tutor Ellesmere Port Full time - 37hrs per week Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm Temporary on-going with termly performance reviews Hourly paid - £18 - £20 per hour Main Purpose of Job: To provide innovative and engaging personal development support to: Ensure learners thrive and progress Deliver group tutorials and targeted one-to-one tutorials for higher risk learners Monitor and intervene to support learners at risk of drop out or underachievement Ensure effective communication and liaison to support learners Provide learners with a clear line of sight to employment, self-employment or HE; developing their confidence and relevant skills in order to get there Safeguarding and a culture of excellence and equality and reflect the vision, mission, aims and values of the College Main Responsibilities Underpinning the learner journey with appropriate and timely support Providing opportunities for learners to develop resilience, knowledge and skills that lead to success Ensuring learners progress onto further study, apprenticeships or work with confidence and independence.
