We are looking for an inspiring Early Years Lecturer to deliver high‑quality teaching across Early Years and Childcare programmes, supporting learners from Level 1 through to Level 5.

Hourly Pay Rate - £30 - £35 per hour inclusive of holiday pay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons across Early Years and Childcare qualifications

  • Teach theory and practical elements including safeguarding, child development, curriculum planning, SEN support and professional practice

  • Support learners with placements, employer engagement and reflective practice

  • Provide academic and pastoral support to ensure strong outcomes

  • Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance and standardisation

  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted expectations and sector regulations

Essential Requirements

  • Strong background in Early Years or Childcare (Nursery, Primary, SEN or similar)

  • Relevant sector qualifications (Level 3+ in Early Years/Childcare)

  • Teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one

  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, child development and professional standards

  • Ability to motivate learners and support their progression

Desirable

  • Experience delivering T Levels or apprenticeships

  • Experience working with SEND learners

  • Knowledge of current sector reforms and workforce requirements
