An FE College in South Yorkshire is seeking an experienced and reliable Estates Group Decorator to join its Estates team. The role involves maintaining and enhancing the appearance of college buildings across multiple campuses.
Key Duties:
  • Carry out painting and decorating works, including surface preparation
  • Apply paints, varnishes, vinyls, and protective finishes
  • Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Assist with general estates duties such as room set-ups and furniture moves
  • Work safely in line with COSHH and health & safety regulations
  • Work at height where required and maintain a clean, safe work environment
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in painting and decorating
  • Relevant trade qualification (NVQ or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and data protection
PASMA (Tower Scaffold) certification and experience within education are desirable.
Evening and weekend working may be required.
An enhanced DBS check is mandatory.
