ESOL Tutor - Scarborough

Immediate Start | Part‑Time

WEA is seeking an experienced ESOL Tutor to deliver engaging, non‑accredited ESOL provision in Scarborough. This role is ideal for a flexible and learner‑focused tutor with a strong understanding of teaching adult ESOL learners.

Role Overview: You will deliver a range of community‑based ESOL courses supporting learners to improve their English for daily life, employment, and integration into UK society. Course content includes job searching, working and living in the UK, societal norms, culture, and signposting to local services.

Teaching Schedule:

  • Mondays & Thursdays - Morning and Afternoon sessions
  • Tuesdays - Morning sessions only
    (Term‑time delivery; short‑term cover considered)

Key Requirements:

  • Experience teaching ESOL to adult learners
  • Ability to deliver inclusive, discussion‑based sessions
  • Strong communication and learner support skills
  • Relevant ESOL or teaching qualification (desirable)
