We are currently working with an education provider who anticipates the need for GCSE English Lecturers to support learners across upcoming teaching requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate educators who are open to current or upcoming teaching opportunities and would like to be considered as roles become available.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive GCSE English lessons, supporting learners of varying abilities to achieve their academic goals. The role may include:

  • Planning and delivering high‑quality GCSE English Language (and/or Literature) lessons
  • Adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learner needs
  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Supporting learners with exam preparation and study skills
  • Contributing positively to the wider teaching team and learning environment

About You

We would love to hear from candidates who have:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
  • Experience delivering GCSE English (or comparable curriculum)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A learner‑focused, supportive approach to teaching
  • Availability for part‑time, full‑time, or sessional work (depending on future needs)
