About the Role
The WEA (Workers' Educational Association) is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Performing Arts & Dance Tutor to deliver a short, face-to-face course focused on building confidence through movement and performance.
This engaging programme will support adult learners in developing self-expression, confidence, and wellbeing through structured performing arts and dance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver inclusive, engaging performing arts and dance sessions
- Support learners to build confidence, communication, and self-expression
- Adapt activities to meet diverse needs and abilities
- Create a safe, supportive, and motivating learning environment
- Monitor learner progress and provide encouragement and feedback
About You
- Experience teaching performing arts, dance, or movement-based sessions
- Passion for building confidence and supporting adult learners
- Ability to differentiate and adapt delivery for inclusive participation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working in community or adult education settings (desirable)
