Subjects needed:

  • Math, English, or Science.
  • Travel and Tourism.
  • Catering

Requirements:

  • Teaching qualification (or newly qualified teacher)
  • Experience in FE (Further Education) preferred
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Travel and Tourism Lecturer Wakefield, West Yorkshire 37 hours per week - t emporary position available for September (with the potentially to become a permanent contract) £25-£28 per hour Protocol are working with a client based in Wakefield who are seeking an enthusiastic and industry-experienced Travel & Tourism Lecturer to join our dynamic team. You will deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across a range of Travel and Tourism programmes, supporting students to develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed for careers in this global industry. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire learners and help them progress into higher education, apprenticeships, or employment within travel, aviation, hospitality, and tourism sectors. Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Travel and Tourism courses (Level1-3,BTEC,NCFE) Teach a range of topics such as customer service, worldwide destinations, the UK tourism sector, and business operations Assess student work and provide timely, constructive feedback Prepare learners for coursework, exams, and industry-related assessments Organise enrichment activities such as trips, visits, and guest speakers Monitor and track student progress to support achievement and retention Maintain accurate records in line with awarding body and college requirements Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement. Requirements: Holds a degree or relevant qualification in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field. Has experience working within the travel, tourism, or aviation industry. Have experience teaching within FE and ideally possess a teaching qualification. Hold a DBS on the update service (or be willin to apply for a new one ahead of September).
