Salary: Up to £36,590 + bursaries + Golden Hello Start Date: September 2026

Are you an experienced electrician or electrical engineering professional looking to inspire the next generation? An FE College in Swadlincote is expanding its successful Electrical provision and is seeking a passionate Electrical Lecturer to join the team from September.

We welcome applications from qualified lecturers and skilled industry professionals ready to move into teaching. Part-time hours will be considered for candidates with the right expertise.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Delivering engaging, high‑quality teaching across Electrical Installation and related programmes

  • Supporting learners from Level 1 to Level 3 as they progress into apprenticeships or employment

  • Designing and assessing practical and theory-based learning

  • Contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement

  • Providing pastoral support to help learners thrive

What We're Looking For

  • A recognised Level 3 electrical qualification

  • Industry experience within electrical installation or maintenance

  • A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one - fully supported)

  • A commitment to high standards, learner success, and inclusive education
