Employability Tutor £30,000 per annum Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire (Multi-Site Delivery) Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role We are looking for a motivated and experienced Employability Tutor to join our growing team, delivering high-quality employability training across multiple sites throughout Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire . This rewarding role involves supporting learners to develop the skills, confidence and qualifications needed to progress into sustainable employment, apprenticeships or further education. The successful candidate will deliver engaging training sessions, assess learner progress and provide tailored support to help individuals achieve their goals. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and effective employability training to groups and individual learners. Teach key employability topics including CV writing, job searching, interview skills, workplace behaviours and career planning. Assess learner work and provide timely, constructive feedback. Complete learner reviews, assessments and progress tracking in line with awarding body requirements. Develop lesson plans, schemes of work and learning resources. Support learners with barriers to employment and help them achieve positive outcomes. Maintain accurate learner records and documentation. Ensure compliance with safeguarding, equality and diversity, and health and safety requirements. Work collaboratively with colleagues, employers and referral partners to support learner progression. Essential Requirements To be considered for this role, candidates must have : A recognised Teaching Qualification (AET, PTLLS, CET, DET, PGCE or equivalent). A recognised Assessor Qualification (CAVA, A1, D32/D33 or equivalent). Experience delivering employability, vocational or adult learning programmes. Experience assessing learners against qualification standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and engage learners from a wide range of backgrounds. Strong organisational and administrative skills. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Desirable Requirements IQA qualification (or willingness to work towards one). Experience working on funded employability programmes. Knowledge of adult learning principles and learner support strategies. Experience supporting unemployed adults, young people or disadvantaged learners.
