The Role As a Barbering Lecturer, you will deliver engaging and practical Barbering sessions to small groups of learners within a prison environment. You'll support learners throughout their educational journey, helping them develop both technical barbering skills and the confidence needed to progress into employment, training, or further education. For candidates seeking a full-time role, additional Outreach responsibilities are available. This involves working with learners across the prison, encouraging participation in education and supporting engagement with learning opportunities. What We're Looking For Essential Professional Barbering qualification or substantial industry experience. Strong practical barbering skills and current industry knowledge. Desirable Teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent. Assessing or Internal Quality Assurance qualifications. Experience delivering accredited training programmes.
