About the Role

As a Further Education Lecturer, you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning to students aged 16+ and adult learners. You will be responsible for planning engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
  • Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments.
  • Monitor, assess, and track student progress.
  • Provide constructive feedback and learner support.
  • Maintain accurate records and attend relevant meetings.
  • Promote inclusion, safeguarding, and student wellbeing.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree or recognised qualification in a relevant subject area.
  • A teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.
  • Experience teaching or training within Further Education, higher education, apprenticeship, or industry settings.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding learner outcomes.
