Further Education Lecturers in Rotherham, South Yorlshire.

Various hours available working part-time OR full-time hours.

We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to join our staffing pool and support learners with a range of additional needs. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by providing high-quality learning and personal care support while helping students develop their English, maths and independent living skills. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and small-group support for learners with special educational needs and disabilities. Deliver and reinforce English and maths learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff. Support learners to achieve their individual targets and maximise their independence. Assist with personal care needs, including toileting, feeding and mobility support where required. Promote student well being, engagement and positive behaviour. Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and other support staff to ensure learners receive the best possible support. Maintain accurate records and contribute to learner progress reviews. Key Qualities: Experience working with young people or adults with SEND, learning disabilities and/or autism. A caring, patient and adaptable approach. Good literacy and numeracy skills, with confidence supporting English and maths activities. Willingness to provide personal care and support learners with complex needs.
