Maths Lecturer (GCSE & Functional Skills) Liverpool, L12 0HB Organisation: FE College Contract: Temporary, Ongoing Hours: Full-Time £25-32 per hour About the Role An FE College in Liverpool is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Lecturer to join their team on a full-time, ongoing temporary basis. You will deliver engaging and effective GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Maths lessons to a diverse range of learners, helping them develop confidence, achieve qualifications, and progress towards their educational and career goals. Key Responsibilities Deliver GCSE and Functional Skills Maths lessons to FE learners. Plan, prepare, and assess high-quality learning activities. Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback. Support learners to achieve positive outcomes and examination success. Maintain accurate learner records and reports. Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment. Work collaboratively with curriculum and support teams. About You Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent). Degree or recognised qualification in Mathematics or a related subject. Experience teaching GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Passionate about supporting learners to achieve their full potential. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one. What's on Offer? Full-time hours. Ongoing temporary assignment.
