Motor Vehicle Lecturer
Birmingham
Full time hours (2x positions available)
Temporary on-going with termly reviews
£27 - £32 per hour teaching and £14 per hour admin rate

This position will be working within a brand new Automotive and Motor Vehicle Education Centre in Birmingham. You will be responsible for the delivery of Motor Vehicle and Automotive courses levels 1 - 3 along with ensuring the centre is off to a great start for their first academic year. Enrolment has been complete and the provider are now seeking two additional lecturers to join the department and delivering across motor vehicle standards.

Have you got what it takes?

  • A level 3 or above qualification in a relevant field (Motor Vehicle/ Automotive)
  • A teaching qualification or assessors award - preferred but not essential
  • Experience delivering Motor Vehicle or Automotive courses within FE settings across levels 1 - 3

Previous experience teaching Art & Design within a Further Education, Secondary, Adult Learning, or Higher Education setting. Strong subject knowledge and practical expertise in Art & Design. Experience assessing and monitoring learner progress. Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one. Desirable Requirements Experience delivering BTEC, UAL, NCFE, or A-Level Art & Design qualifications. Knowledge of one or more specialist areas including: Fine Art Graphic Design Illustration Photography Digital Media Textiles 3D Design Experience preparing learners for progression into university or employment within the creative sector.
