Motor Vehicle Lecturer

Temporary on-going with termly reviews
£27 - £32 per hour teaching and £14 per hour admin rate

This position will be working within a brand new Automotive and Motor Vehicle Education Centre in Birmingham. You will be responsible for the delivery of Motor Vehicle and Automotive courses levels 1 - 3 along with ensuring the centre is off to a great start for their first academic year. Enrolment has been complete and the provider are now seeking two additional lecturers to join the department and delivering across motor vehicle standards.

Have you got what it takes?

  • A level 3 or above qualification in a relevant field (Motor Vehicle/ Automotive)
  • A teaching qualification or assessors award - preferred but not essential
  • Experience delivering Motor Vehicle or Automotive courses within FE settings across levels 1 - 3

Creative Media Lecturer FE College in West Yorkshire Contract: Temporary on going, reviewed at October half term. Hours: Tuesday-Thursday 0.5 HOURS. Rate: £25-28 per hour including statutory holiday pay. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Creative Media Lecturer to join a dynamic and supportive teaching team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will ideally have a background in Film and Television and will primarily be responsible for overseeing the Level 1 Media programme, whilst also delivering teaching across the Level 3 UAL Creative Media Production course. Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Creative Media programmes. Lead and support learners on the Level 1 Media course and teach on the Level 3 UAL Creative Media Production programme. Plan, prepare and assess learner work in line with awarding body requirements. Support students to achieve positive outcomes and progress within their studies. Contribute to the continued development of the curriculum area. Requirements: Relevant qualification in Creative Media, Film, Television, or a related subject (desirable but not essential). Previous teaching, training, or industry experience within Creative Media. Knowledge of UAL qualifications would be advantageous. Hold a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, DET, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one. Hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to undertake the necessary compliance checks.
