Accountancy Tutor

Location: Manchester (Hybrid)

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Annual Bonus

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified accountant with a passion for developing others to join a growing education and training team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move away from traditional accountancy practice and into a rewarding role where they can make a real impact on students' careers.

No previous teaching experience is required as full training will be provided.

Based in Manchester, with occasional travel to Liverpool, you will deliver professional accountancy training and support students working towards qualifications including AAT, ACA, ACCA and CIMA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver classroom and online training for professional accountancy qualifications
  • Support and mentor students throughout their studies
  • Mark assignments and provide constructive feedback
  • Answer student queries both during and outside of teaching sessions
  • Maintain student progress records and provide updates where required
  • Contribute to wider business initiatives, content development and team projects

About You

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or AAT qualified (Level 7 or equivalent)
  • Must have PER
  • UK-based with full right to work in the UK
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Passionate about sharing knowledge and helping others succeed
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving and time management skills
  • Positive, adaptable and professional approach
  • Good understanding of accountancy qualifications and apprenticeship programmes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Desirable

  • Experience within the accountancy or finance sector
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship standards
