Role: Accountancy Tutor Leeds, Sheffield & Hull Up to £40,000 About the Role We are seeking ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or AAT qualified accountants to join our growing team of tutors. Previous teaching experience is not essential, as full training and support will be provided. We are looking for individuals who bring enthusiasm, personality, and a passion for helping others learn, alongside the technical expertise required to deliver engaging and impactful accounting tuition. Key Responsibilities Teach cohorts of students and apprentices studying AAT, ACA, CIMA, and ACCA qualifications in both classroom and online environments. Support Level 3, 4 and Level 7 apprenticeship programmes, which may include delivering professional skills training and monitoring learner performance and progression. Deliver courses in line with established teaching programmes and learning materials. Support learners by responding to queries and providing timely, constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues by sharing learner performance information and feedback. Provide general administrative support as required. Attend careers events and other promotional activities when required. Essential Criteria Right to live and work in the UK and currently based in the UK. Qualified Accountant (Level 7 or equivalent qualification). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Passion for sharing knowledge and supporting the development of others. Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time management skills. Positive, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to work. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloads. Professional and confident when working with learners, employers, and colleagues. Experience working within cross-functional teams across commercial and educational environments. Knowledge of accountancy qualifications and apprenticeship standards. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Desirable Criteria Experience working within cross-functional project teams. Experience within the accountancy and finance sector.
