Deliver engaging lessons in GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths, supporting learners to develop their numeracy skills, achieve qualifications, and progress into further education, apprenticeships, or employment. They create an inclusive learning environment, monitor student progress, and provide tailored support to help learners reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging GCSE and/or Functional Skills Maths lessons to learners of varying abilities.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess learning materials in line with curriculum requirements.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs and promote inclusion.
  • Maintain accurate learner records, attendance, and assessment documentation.
  • Support students in developing confidence, numeracy skills, and positive study habits.
