Key responsibilities include: Maintaining and carrying out basic repairs to equipment within workshops and training areas Preparing and setting up tools, equipment, materials and assessment areas for practical teaching sessions Supporting lecturers during practical workshops, demonstrations and assessments Ensuring workshops and training environments remain safe, organised and compliant with Health & Safety requirements Assisting with the preparation and development of practical learning activities Contributing to team meetings and the ongoing development of the Electrical Installations curriculum Supporting the day-to-day operation of the department and other associated duties as required About You We are looking for an organised, proactive and reliable individual who enjoys working as part of a team and supporting the development of learners. You will have: A minimum Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations At least one year's relevant trade experience within an electrical environment Practical knowledge of electrical maintenance and repair Up-to-date understanding of Health & Safety requirements relating to Electrical Installations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Good administrative and organisational abilities The ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities A positive approach to building effective working relationships with colleagues and students
