EAA Specialist Assessor

0-Hour Temporary Contract | £30 per Hour Locations: Stamford & Peterborough

Are you a qualified SEND Specialist Assessor with experience in Exam Access Arrangements? We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our Learning Support team on a flexible, temporary basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to support learners with additional needs by carrying out specialist assessments and ensuring students receive appropriate Exam Access Arrangements in line with JCQ regulations.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct screening and specialist assessments for Exam Access Arrangements (EAA).
  • Complete and maintain JCQ-compliant documentation, including Form 8 and supporting evidence.
  • Review EHCPs, support plans, and learner records to inform assessments.
  • Deliver specialist SEND support to learners on a 1:1 or small-group basis where required.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SEND teams, and examination colleagues.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on supporting learners with SEND and exam access arrangements.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with quality assurance requirements.
Essential Requirements
  • Level 7 SpLD qualification with Exam Access Arrangements accreditation, or equivalent EAA assessment qualification (such as CPT3A and AAC).
  • Teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, or Level 5 equivalent).
  • Experience carrying out assessments and identifying individual support needs.
  • Experience producing assessment reports and Exam Access Arrangements documentation.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and record-keeping skills.
  • Strong understanding of SEND and barriers to learning.
