Protocol are working with a leading FE College in Doncaster to recruit a Hairdressing Lecturer on a temporary ongoing basis to cover staff absence.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Hairdressing professional or Lecturer to inspire and support learners across a range of Hairdressing programmes.

Role Details

  • Location: Doncaster
  • Hours: 22.5 hours per week
  • Working Days: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
  • Some evening teaching required
  • Temporary ongoing assignment
  • Pay Rate: £25 - £28 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging practical and theory-based Hairdressing lessons.
  • Teach learners across Levels 1 to 3.
  • Assess, monitor and support learner progress.
  • Prepare lesson plans, learning resources and assessments.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate learner records in line with college procedures.

Key Requirements

  • Relevant Hairdressing qualification at Level 3 or above.
  • Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
  • Experience delivering Hairdressing programmes within Further Education, training, or industry settings.
  • Strong practical Hairdressing skills and up-to-date industry knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
