The Role

As a Painting & Decorating Tutor, you will:

Deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons.
Support learners working towards vocational qualifications.
Demonstrate industry-standard painting and decorating techniques.
Develop learners' confidence, practical ability, and employability skills.
Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain safe and organised workshop environments.
Support learners in achieving their goals and progressing into employment.

Essential / Desirable Experience

Occupational experience within Painting & Decorating.
Experience delivering training, coaching, mentoring, or teaching is desirable.
Relevant Painting & Decorating qualifications.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Passion for developing learners and helping others succeed.

Teaching qualifications such as AET, CET, DET, PGCE, or Cert Ed are beneficial but not always essential depending on the opportunity.
