As part of the dedicated Estates team, you will play a key role in ensuring our campus remains safe, secure, welcoming and well-maintained for students, staff and visitors. This is a varied and rewarding position where no two days are the same. What you'll bring: Carrying out a wide range of caretaking duties across the College campus. Responding promptly and effectively to urgent caretaking and maintenance issues. Reporting building fabric defects and maintenance requirements in line with College procedures. Assisting with room moves, event setups and the movement of furniture and equipment. Supporting the College's commitment to safeguarding and health & safety standards. Contributing to the continuous improvement of the Facilities and Estates service. Working independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team to maintain high standards across the College. To be successful in this role, you will: Have previous experience in a caretaking, facilities, maintenance or similar role. Be vocationally competent and confident managing a variety of caretaking tasks. Have the ability to manually handle and move large items safely. Possess excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work. Be reliable, flexible and able to respond effectively to changing priorities.
