Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Motor Vehicle lessons to Level 1-3 learners and apprentices.
• Teach a range of automotive subjects, including vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and mechanical systems.
• Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments.
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Support students in achieving their qualifications and career goals.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety within workshop environments.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Relevant Motor Vehicle qualification (Level 3 or above).
• Industry experience within the automotive sector.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent) desirable but not essential.
• Assessing and/or Internal Quality Assurance qualifications advantageous.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for education and developing future automotive professionals.
