About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Data Entry Administrator to join the HR & Recruitment team within a busy and supportive Further Education College.

This role is ideal for an organised and detail-oriented administrator who enjoys working with data, systems and documentation. You will play a key role in supporting recruitment, onboarding and HR administration processes, ensuring employee records are maintained accurately and confidentially.

Working closely with the HR and Recruitment team, you will help ensure all staff records, compliance documentation and recruitment information are processed efficiently and in line with college procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and maintain employee data across HR systems and databases.
  • Process recruitment and onboarding documentation.
  • Update personnel records, contracts and employee information.
  • Monitor and record compliance documentation, including DBS checks, references and Right to Work documentation.
  • Support recruitment campaigns by processing applications and maintaining candidate records.
  • Prepare and update spreadsheets, reports and data trackers.
  • Maintain electronic and paper-based filing systems.
  • Ensure all information is entered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Respond to general HR and recruitment administration enquiries.
  • Provide administrative support to the wider HR and Recruitment department.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information in accordance with GDPR requirements.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a data entry, administration or office support role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage confidential information professionally.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience within HR, recruitment, education or compliance administration would be advantageous but is not essential.

Safeguarding Requirements

As this role is based within an educational setting, the successful candidate must:

  • Hold a valid Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or
  • Be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check as part of the pre-employment process.

Employability & Enrichment Assistant £20.17 per hour | 30 hours per week (advertised as 4 full days) | Ongoing Opportunity - Birmingham We are seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate and proactive Employability & Enrichment Assistant to support students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in accessing enrichment activities and developing the skills, confidence and independence needed to progress into employment, apprenticeships, further study or supported internships. Based on the role profile the post combines student support, employability development and enrichment coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of young people with additional needs and helping them achieve successful outcomes beyond education. The Role Working as part of the Learning Services team, you will: Support students with EHCPs to participate fully in enrichment activities both on and off site. Encourage the development of confidence, independence, social communication and employability skills. Assist students with CV writing, job applications, interview preparation and progression planning. Deliver structured one-to-one and small-group activities. Maintain accurate records of student engagement, progress and outcomes. Work collaboratively with curriculum staff, support teams and external partners to promote inclusive opportunities.
