Trainer Assessor - HGV Maintenance & Repair

Location: Loughborough
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday
Rate: £25 - £27 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Temporary ongoing

We are currently seeking an experienced Trainer Assessor in HGV Maintenance & Repair to join a leading further education and apprenticeship provider on a full-time temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified HGV professional with teaching experience to support apprentices through their learning journey, delivering engaging training and assessment within HGV Maintenance and Repair programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment to HGV Maintenance & Repair apprentices.
• Teach apprentices in structured 2-week block delivery periods.
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Support apprentices to achieve their qualifications and workplace competencies.
• Maintain accurate learner records and complete all required documentation.
• Work closely with employers and stakeholders to ensure successful learner outcomes.

Essential Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance & Repair.
• Level 3, Level 4 or Level 5 Teaching Qualification.
• Previous experience delivering training, teaching or assessing within an apprenticeship or educational setting.
• Strong industry knowledge of HGV Maintenance & Repair.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
