Are you a fully qualified accountant looking for an opportunity to utilise your professional expertise in a rewarding and impactful way?

We are working with a leading professional education provider to recruit an Accountancy Tutor - Level 7 to join their team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualified accountant who is passionate about supporting others and is interested in building a long-term career within education.

No previous teaching experience is required. Full training, mentoring, and ongoing support will be provided to help you successfully transition into a teaching role.

The Role

As an Accountancy Tutor, you will support and inspire learners studying towards advanced professional accounting qualifications at Level 7. Using your industry knowledge and experience, you will help students develop the technical understanding and confidence required to achieve their qualifications and progress their careers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering engaging and effective teaching sessions to Level 7 learners.
• Explaining complex accounting concepts in a clear, practical, and accessible manner.
• Supporting students through coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback.
• Monitoring learner progress and identifying areas where additional support may be required.
• Creating an inclusive and positive learning environment that encourages participation and success.
• Delivering both classroom-based and online learning sessions.
• Predominantly working from Manchester, with occasional travel to Liverpool (expenses fully reimbursed).

About You

We are keen to hear from individuals who have:

• A full professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Successfully completed and signed off their Practical Experience Requirements (PER), where applicable.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge gained through industry or practice experience.
• A genuine enthusiasm for teaching, mentoring, and developing future accountants.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to a range of learners.
• A supportive, approachable, and patient attitude.
• A willingness to develop new skills and undertake teacher training.
