2 x Temporary FE Teaching Opportunities | Immediate September 2026 Start

We are seeking two experienced and enthusiastic Health & Social Care Lecturers to deliver Level 2 and Level 3 programmes on a temporary basis. These roles are covering current vacancies while permanent recruitment is undertaken and offer the opportunity to join a supportive Further Education team delivering high-quality teaching and learning.

Position 1 - Full Teaching Load

Start Date: 7 September 2026
Initial Contract: Until 23 October 2026
Review: Potential extension following October half-term review

Hours

• 21 teaching hours per week
• 5 administration/preparation hours per week

Position 2 - Part Teaching Load

Start Date: 7 September 2026
Initial Contract: Until 23 October 2026
Review: Potential extension following October half-term review

Hours

• 11.5 teaching hours per week
• 5 administration/preparation hours per week

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Health & Social Care lessons to Level 2 and Level 3 learners, supporting student progress and achievement, and undertaking the associated preparation, administration and assessment activities required within Further Education.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience teaching Health & Social Care within Further Education.
• Ability to deliver Level 2 and/or Level 3 Health & Social Care qualifications.
• Relevant vocational qualification in Health & Social Care or a related discipline.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent) desirable.
• Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills.
• Commitment to supporting student success and achievement.

Rates of Pay

• Teaching: £25.00 - £27.00 per hour
• Administration/Preparation: £14.00 per hour
