We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Cyber Security Lecturer to join a well-established Further Education college in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and develop the next generation of cyber security professionals through the delivery of BTEC and T Level Cyber Security programmes . The Role You will be responsible for delivering engaging and industry-relevant lessons to Further Education learners, supporting them to achieve their qualifications and develop the practical skills required for a career in cyber security. Key responsibilities include: Planning and delivering high-quality teaching across Cyber Security BTEC and T Level courses. Preparing learning materials, assessments and lesson plans. Monitoring and assessing learner progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Maintaining accurate learner records and completing associated administration. Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment. Keeping up to date with developments within the cyber security sector. Requirements Relevant qualification in Cyber Security, Computing, Information Security or a related subject. Experience teaching or training in Cyber Security, Computing or IT. Knowledge of BTEC and/or T Level delivery is desirable. A teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent) is desirable, though industry professionals with training experience are encouraged to apply. Strong communication and organisational skills. Passion for supporting and developing learners. What's on Offer?
