Construction Technician Required in Cambridge

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Technician to join our team on a long-term temporary basis in Cambridge, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

This is a varied role that involves supporting multiple trades across active construction sites. We welcome applications from candidates with previous construction or trade experience who are looking for a stable, long-term opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting skilled tradespeople across a range of construction activities.
  • Supporting site operations to ensure projects run efficiently.
  • Carrying out general construction and labouring duties.
  • Moving materials, tools, and equipment around site.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Undertaking additional duties as required by site management.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within the construction industry is preferred.
  • Experience working alongside trades such as carpenters, bricklayers, plumbers, electricians, or groundworkers would be advantageous.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good understanding of site health and safety practices.
  • CSCS card preferred but not essential, depending on experience.
