We are seeking compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support students within a busy and inclusive Further Education College in Cambridge.

This is a rewarding opportunity to help learners achieve their full potential by providing classroom and one-to-one support across a range of courses and educational settings. Whether you are looking for full-time, part-time, temporary, or permanent work, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students with a variety of learning needs within classroom environments.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to learners.
  • Assist students in developing independence, confidence, and study skills.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to implement learning support strategies.
  • Encourage student engagement and participation in lessons and activities.
  • Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Support students with additional needs, including SEND, where required.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with young people or adults in an educational, support, care, or mentoring role is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, empathetic, and supportive approach.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Good organisational skills and a proactive attitude.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of learners.
